[Korean GSI/Tutor/Reader] (Revised at 08/10)

The Korean program in the Dept. of East Asian Languages & Cultures needs GSIs/tutor/reader for 2008-2009 academic year.  The GSI's job is teaching classes (either beginner or intermediate level) under a lecturer’s supervision for 6 hours (50%), 4 hours (33%), or 3 hours (25%).  The tutor's job is meeting students who take a beginner, intermediate, or advanced Korean class and answer their questions or help their oral practice. Working hours will be decided later depending on the number of students and department budget, but generally fall between 6-8 hours per week. The reader’s job is grading homework or examination for 5-7 hours per week.  Please send your CV to Kijoo Ko (kijooko@berkeley.edu) and indicate in which position you are interested.
